I worked in retail for over two years, and our return policy was constantly undergoing changes to keep up with customer dishonesty (and, at times, stupidity).  Every time I worked at the customer service desk, it was 100% certain that I would get someone trying to return something that just couldn't be returned.  That's why this story caught my eye, especially as we head to sporting goods stores to get ready for Summertime!

REI has just made a drastic change to its return policy, probably to rid itself of the nickname "Rental Equipment Incorporated."  Check out the report from 9News below for the whole scoop.

Do you think this is a good move for the company, or is it unfair to honest customers with legitimate problems with REI merchandise?  Let us know in the comments section at the bottom of this page!
