Red Rocks Amphitheater to Host Screenings for Potential Television Pilots

Red Rocks has seen many concerts and many events over the years; but soon, a first-time event! Get ready to grab a seat to see what might be coming to your ‘boob tube!’

If you love TV, and you love Red Rocks, you couldn't ask for a more fun event! Coming June 18th to the Denver area, is SeriesFest: Sesaon One , an event that will highlight TV pilots and celebrate television history. This will be the inaugural event, straight out of Hollywood- with TV producers, writers and executives showcasing what we might be seeing on TV! TV pilots will be judged by a panel, with the public getting a chance to chime in as well! Imagine if you had had the chance to tell them your thoughts on ‘The Neighbors’- maybe NOBODY would have had to endure that!

It’s a four-day event, with most screenings and keynote speaking events happening at the Sie Film Center in Denver. The opening night (June 18, 2015) festivities however, will happen at Red Rocks Amphitheater! It is contradictory - where one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in the world, will be the setting for an event about sitting inside on your couch. Weird, but fun!

Imagine: the venue that has hosted such memorable concerts, presidential campaign stops and inspiring Easter Sunday services, will also be where we got a glimpse of what the networks are bringing to our living rooms!

How cool would that be? Add to it, that you could say that you had a hand in deciding what’s on TV, without having to leave the state! Nice!
