Colorado's take from taxes and fees on recreational marijuana was over $2 million in
January, the first month of legal pot sales. Now, we should see new tax revenues for
our county.

Larimer County commissioners unanimously approved the first recreational pot store in the county. They have allowed Choice Organics to grow and sell recreational marijuana.

Choice Organics’ recreational marijuana facility will be in the same location as its medical marijuana operations in the southwest corner of Mulberry Street I-25.

According to the Coloradoan, the store should be opening sometime next month.
