After being closed since 2007, the Walmart store on South Mason St. in Fort Collins will be closed just a little bit longer before re-opening it's freshly remodeled doors.

The Coloradoan reports challenges with flooring have pushed the grand re-opening back to April 24th.  The store was supposed to re-open on Wednesday.

The renovated and expanded Walmart will employ 240, be open 24 hours daily and offer groceries and a pharmacy. Although it is 13,100 square-feet larger than the store that closed more than five years ago in the same location, it will be half the size of a typical Walmart Supercenter and will not include an automotive or outdoor garden center.

Normally I would complain that we already have enough Walmart stores around here; but it's not lost on me that this store just gave work to over 200 people.  So I'd call that a good thing!
