Help support Lory State Park by learning about raptors and enjoying outdoor games at its ice cream social fundraiser on Monday, August 1.

The park's fourth annual ice cream social fundraiser will be held at the Soldier Canyon Picnic Area from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will include games, storytelling, and the chance for attendees to learn the importance of raptors and their place in Northern Colorado's natural landscape.

Raptor ambassadors and volunteers with the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program will be on-site to discuss how their rehabilitation works to get injured birds healthy enough to return to the wild.

Park admission is free, but there is a requested donation of $5 per person or $15 per family for the event.
