Got power? For areas of Denver and Aurora Tuesday, October 16, the answer was definitively 'Nope.'

According to 9News, over 30,000 Colorado residents were without power when an issue at an Xcel substation in uptown Denver caused multiple areas to go dark around 8:30 p.m.

Xcel Energy and Denver Police worked together to notify residents and solve the issue, and though Xcel let affected customers know that power would be up by 11:30 p.m., many started seeing solutions as early as 9:45. Source
