New things are the best! When you're talking about a new firetruck it's both cool and so very fortunate for the community receiving it. Poudre Fire Authority is welcoming three new fire engines. The engines are considered "Green Star" vehicles, which ultimately means they use less fuel and battery power. You can check out this state-of-the-art engine at the end of the month.

The Poudre Fire Authority engine "open house" is from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, October 27th at Station 4, which is off Drake, just east of Taft Hill. The free event is open to the public and will give you a chance to walk around, touch and get inside Station 4’s new engine, learning about how it works, the equipment it carries and its role at PFA.

Fire Station 4 is at 1945 W. Drake Road in Fort Collins.
