The Poudre Fire Authority is working over-time this summer, there's no doubt about that. This morning they were called to a Fort Collins dental office with reports of a possible explosion.

According to the Poudre Fire Authority the call came in early Friday morning. There was a report that there was a possible explosion and fire at the Comfort Dental building near Lemay and East Elizabeth in Fort Collins.

Crews reported that they found the one story, block building on fire. There was fire coming out of two windows on the street-side. Crews aggressively attacked the fire and were able to get it fully controlled within 30 minutes.

The damages to the Comfort Dental building include at least two exam rooms and storage areas.  Poudre Fire Authority officials say the building suffered slightly less than 25% heavy fire damage with the rest of the building being damaged by smoke.

Authorities are investigating the incident to establish origin and cause of the blaze.
