Popular Boulder & Denver Restaurant ‘The Kitchen’ is Coming to the Old Town Beau Jo’s Space in Fort Collins

In the nine years I've lived in Fort Collins, I've come across plenty of people who rave about "The Kitchen," a bistro with locations in Denver and Boulder.  I've always wanted to try it; but I always forget every time I'm down there!  Well, I definitely won't have any excuse for not trying it when it comes to Fort Collins...

Kimbal Musk, founder of The Kitchen, plans to bring the bistro to the Avery Building in Old Town once Beau Jo's vacates the space, according to the Coloradoan.

Musk and partner/chef Hugo Matheson are also opening The Kitchen Next Door — a sister restaurant — in Glendale and Union Station in the near future, but Fort Collins will be the only new The Kitchen, a restaurant that works directly with farmers. “The menu can change every day based on what’s growing,” Musk said. “We already work with farmers up there, so it’s nice for them to be able to supply their own community.”
