Pink Honored as Billboard’s Woman of the Year

Pink was honored by Billboard as their Woman of the Year. She accepted, indicating that for her entire career she has wanted to be taken seriously as an artist and a woman.

Starting in Atlanta as part of an R&B group, Pink rose to the top. She has since become known as a maverick writer, performer and woman who identifies with the underdog and some parts of society that could be considered marginalized.

Her honest approach has set her apart. It doesn't hurt that her vocals are absolutely amazing.
