Emotions were high during the Sheriff's ride into the sunset today as he gave his official retirement announcement.

"There's just something about 18 years," said Peyton Manning, fighting back tears during a press conference Monday. "And today, I retire from football."

Behind the loving, supportive, and even hilarious comments from fans during the Denver Broncos' Facebook live stream, Manning went on to thank everyone who helped him along his career in the NFL in a lengthy, tear-jerker of a speech that touched the hearts of even those who don't follow football whatsoever (at least as a non-football fan myself, I bawled my eyes out).
