Ah now this fun. Penguins on a passenger plane? Far better that snakes on a plane. I've always been a huge fan of penguins, I'd own one if they could be pets, so this caught my attention. Delta flight 1641 from San Antonio to Atlanta passengers got to see penguins on their flight.

The captain made an announcement asking if any passengers were allergic to penguins and shortly after the flight plane was at cruising altitude, the friendly creatures made a stroll down the first class isle. Almost like celebrities, passengers snapped photos and video of the pair of penguins.

But this wasn't just a special treat from Delta Airlines. It turns out Pete and Penny, ages 6 and 12, were en route to New York for the premiere of "Frozen Planet," a new Discovery Channel documentary series narrated by Alec Baldwin.

This isn't the first time a penguin has made an in-flight appearance. Almost a year ago, footage emerged on YouTube of a pair of SeaWorld penguins walking the aisles of a San Francisco to San Diego Southwest airlines flight.
