One of my favorite go to dishes in Fort Collins is mussels with linguine. I know, when one thinks of the Rocky Mountains, beef, not seafood, probably comes to mind. Well, I'd like to coat the entire mountain range with the buttery garlic white wine sauce that makes this dish my favorite. Numerous places serve it, and they all pretty much knock it out of the park. Here are the best places to enjoy it.

Note - I believe that most of them don't offer the linguine. It's an extra add-on. Worth it.

Mulligan's Pub and Sports Club

It's the OG of this dish, or at least the first place I had it almost 10 years ago. Mulligan's is not only a great place to watch the game with TV screens right in many of the booths. Leave an appetite because once the mussels and linguine are gone, you'll be asking for extra bread to sop up the delicious butter sauce.

Crown Pub

With Old Town charm in spades, the Crown Pub offers many great dishes that I honestly haven't tried. Okay, I've had more than just the Prince Edward Island mussles...but not much more. Love.

Cafe Vino

My favorite place to meet and work, and also to socialize and eat. The staff is among the best in the Fort. They are the most surprised when I ask for the linguine add on, though, but be persistent. This dish just doesn't make any sense to me without a hearty pasta. I'm not sure why, but it is just so delicious!
