Just in time for Earth Day, yours truly, author of Stranded in a Snowstorm (Juvenile Fiction - Morgan James Publishing), an action adventure story about survival in the Colorado backcountry, is playing music from his book and apps during a special performance under the dome at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery on Friday evening, April 24, 2015. I'll be on stage at 7:30 p.m.

I include music in my books and apps because in my opinion, music belongs everywhere. It’s a great compliment to my book, it shows how creativity spans artistic forms. Also, gratitude and appreciation are important points that I make in my art and I express it in the literature and the music.

Stranded in a Snowstorm and my other efforts, two kids book apps and other songs, all have underlying green themes in them that help kids understand how easy it is to improve our impact on our environment.

I'll play the song from the book, Stranded in a Snowstorm, “Water”, “Ride My Bike” from a forthcoming work called The Race, and a few other songs during what is sure to be an engaging performance. Listen to and download the songs here!

I don’t like to play or talk at people. If you’ve heard my radio show, or have spoken with me, you know that I find the most interest in a give and take.

Paul’s performance is part of the Fort Collins Music Experiment, or FoCoMX, an annual festival in Old Town Fort Collins that fills the venues with live music. Admission comes with festival wristbands, which are $30 and are good for all the participating venues and over 200 acts on April 24 and 25, 2015.

Wristbands and schedule lineup are available at their website, http://focomx.focoma.org/
