OSHA Investigates Lightning Strike That Injured Workers Near Fort Collins

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating whether there were any workplace-safety violations last Thursday in which farm-workers were hit by lightning in a field north of Fort Collins.

Two of the workers remained hospitalized over the weekend. Nine others were treated and released.

An owner of Silver Reef Organic Farms, which owns Full Circle Farm says the workers were harvesting rhubarb when they were injured by the lightning strike. The Denver Channel has more.
