If you're a product of the '80s or '90s, then you probably have some memories of heading to the general store, loading up the wagon, and picking out who would travel with you on your journey through the Oregon Trail.

Well, there's good news for all of you who want to take it back to the days of middle school, because the original 'Oregon Trail' computer game has been released online, in addition to around 2,000 other popular old school games, including 'Street Fighter' and 'Sim City.' Even better – although maybe not for production in the workplace, they are all completely free to play and are available right on the Internet.

The creators of the gaming archive, The Wayback Machine, do point out that the site is not completely perfect yet, so some users may encounter glitches during their sessions. They appreciate if users submit feedback and report bugs that they experience. It's also impossible to save your game, so if you sit down to play, give yourself some time if you plan on finishing. Despite these minor setbacks, it's crazy to see the evolution of technology and graphics, from how they used to be, to what current games look like today.

So what are you waiting for? Stock up on those berries, refill the witch hazel, get your oxen and be on your way! Just be careful of freezing to death or getting dysentery...
