Police have identified the suspect in the death of Sherri Allman as George Newman.  Newman was killed in an officer-involved shooting earlier this month at a motel near Allman’s home. A few days later police were at Allman’s residence to conduct a welfare check requested by neighbors and found her body. They estimate she was killed on or around September 28th.
