North Colorado Medical Center Hosts Girls Night Out with An Enchanting Affair [Advertorial]

Need some girl time? Grab your girlfriends and come enjoy art, music, comedy, laughter and storytelling during North Colorado Medical Center Spirit of Women’s Fall Signature Event, An Enchanting Affair.

The ninth annual Spirit Girls’ Night Out is a whimsical journey, designed to inspire and educate women towards better health and vibrant living by providing information in a fun and fanciful fashion. An Enchanting Affair will occur Thursday, October 3^rd from 6:00 – 8:30pm, at the UNC Ballroom with proceeds from the evening benefiting the NCMC Breast Center Fund, which provides mammograms for under-insured working women in northern Colorado.

The evening will begin with tantalizing food and drinks to tease the palate and enhance time with girlfriends. Women will have the opportunity to visit health information booths, art exhibits and view the Lilly Oncology on Canvas: Expressions of a Cancer Journey, an empowering and emotional compilation of art and narrative expressing the hearts of those affected by cancer.

The evening’s program will include stories from women who have benefitted from the NCMC Breast Cancer Fund, as well as information regarding the 3-D Tomosynthesis, which provides greater accuracy for earlier detection of breast tissue abnormalities. This new process, available in late September at the NCMC Breast Center, is used along with the traditional 2-D mammogram to allow a detailed view of abnormalities that cannot be seen with a routine-screening mammogram alone.

The highlight of the program will be Fundamentally Female™, a sassy, soulful, sidesplitting journey to capture the elusive, universal spirit of every woman - created by speaker and storysmith, Reneé Rongen. Her message is upbeat and unforgettable…and is known to create sputtering, snorting and laughing!
