A man was arrested on 8 felony charges and 6 misdemeanors in Northern Colorado following a string of burglaries taking place between February and April.

James E. Ross, 62, was arrested by detectives with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office after they obtained an arrest warrant containing charges for second degree burglary and theft of $5,000-20,000, among others.

The warrant was issued for his arrest based on evidence from 5 burglaries that occurred between February and April along Jay Road in unincorporated Boulder County, which is north of the Boulder Municipal Airport.

Ross was already being held at the Boulder County Jail on a parole violation, plus burglary and theft charges out of multiple counties when the warrant for his arrest was issued, with bond set at $20,000.
