Northeastern Colorado Road Conditions

NORTHEAST COLORADO — Maintenance crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation’s northeast region of the state are on the roads clearing the remnants of the storm. Roads near Boulder, Fort Collins, Greeley, and Loveland are slushy with some icy patches and there are still high winds blowing.

Highways east of Fort Morgan are dry with strong winds. High profile vehicles are urged to use caution while driving in this section of the state. US 287, which had been closed overnight from Ted’s Place to Wyoming due to adverse weather conditions, is now open.

Motorists are advised that bridges, overpasses and ramps will freeze first and should remember “Ice and Snow, Take It Slow.” Motorists can call 511 or visit www.cotrip.org for current road condition information across the state.
