‘North Colorado’ Secession Debate Rages On – One County Offers an Alternative [VIDEO]
It might sound ridiculous to some, but rural counties in northern Colorado are still seriously debating whether or not to secede and form the 51st state. Amidst the debate, however, are alternatives that would allow Colorado to remain whole.
One alternative would require state representatives to be elected by county, rather than by population. That would dilute the influence of some of the bigger cities on the Front Range and Western Slope.
