It's long been a seller's market when it comes to real estate in Colorado.

This market was early to emerge from the crash and recession of 2008. The years following were still lean times for anyone selling during those tough years, but a few years later, things weren't just improving, they were buzzing.

For the last few years, it's been way better to be selling than buying. I've heard many stories of first day cash offers on new properties from my realtor friends, and friends who were selling their homes.

One of our Townsquare account reps actually bought a new home, didn't even move into it because it wasn't finished, took another job in Colorado Springs, and sold the house they never lived in for a respectable profit.

That is a seller's market.

Well, a slight shift may be occurring, finally giving the home buyer in Colorado a leg up.

Inventory in a some key Denver neighborhoods is increasing, and from what I hear, some factors are stacking on the buyer's side in Northern Colorado as well.
