On Wednesday (March 11), several eyewitnesses saw a fireball streak across the Colorado sky for more than 10 seconds. NASA has confirmed that what fell to earth was a two to four pound meteor called an Earthgrazer. This meteor was traveling at an estimated 45,000 mph, and hit the earths atmosphere at a very shallow angle. According to the Denver post, meteoroid experts were able to determine this by the many eyewitness accounts and video that was collected.
