I DJ'd a big 70's party for the staff of the Armstrong Hotel at Ace Gillette's and it was a slamming good time. As a DJ on TRI 102.5, we love the 70's, sometimes more than any other generation of music. Such raw emotion went into so many good tracks. The wah-wah pedals saw a lot of use, and the bass players drove the train. Looking through and choosing music was almost as much fun as the gig itself.

70's dance music is essentially divided into 3 categories; rock and roll dance songs, funk rock and disco. Some bleed over into each other, and all of them can keep a crowd slamming for hours.
