One of the biggest mistakes I have ever made was buying the house that I live in with the bathroom in the condition it was. God bless my wife for being such a brave trooper through it all, because this bathroom was in rough shape. Well, the whole house was in rough shape, but little fixes have managed to make it right. A DIY project here, a small contractor job there and the house has been steadily getting better since we moved in years ago.

The one thing we've had so much trouble tackling has been the bathroom. It was just so small that we didn't know how to give ourselves any more room. Plus, there were other things that made us think we'd be opening a huge can of worms.

Well, we're finally tackling it, thanks in total to our brother in law Paul, who really couldn't be much better at home improvements. By day he works at Samaritan's Purse, helping with things like Operation Christmas Child. In his off time, he helps friends and family members like us tear out the old and put in the new. I've been just standing by, waiting for duties.

So, enjoy the photo gallery. In real life, it was much worse than it looks. My personal favorite has been the 3 inches of cement they poured in there for some unknown reason.

The after pictures are on the way!
