More Snow Possible for the Mountains Today

Snow on Trees in Fort Collins
Todd Harding, TSM

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY was issued for the central and northern mountains above 10,000 feet for last night and today. Rain and snow showers were expected over the higher mountain areas, with 4-8 inches of snow possible over a 24-hour period. Along the Front Range, we will continue to see scattered showers and a few thunderstorms through Tuesday.  This is part of the same storm system that rolled through the Central Plains with thunderstorms and tornadoes this weekend.
