More of the Best Cocktail Hour Songs [VIDEO]

The cocktail hour is a time to prime the wedding crowd with great things to come. It's a rare time when One Republic fits perfectly with Frank Sinatra, when the sounds of Bruno Mars mingle melodically with Smokey Robinson. The cocktail hour is about lovey dove dove music played at a medium to brisk tempo.

Beware the 'too slow' love song.

I know Love Me Tender is a great song. It also will put some folks to sleep. If the couple requests the super slow ballads, I'll play them, but I always take care to make sure I prepare people for the dance party to come.
