Mobile Meth Lab Discovered at Fort Collins McDonalds
Police in Fort Collins have discovered what they believe is a mobile meth lab in a McDonalds parking lot. Authorities blocked off the parking lot at 2401 S. College Avenue during their investigation of a suspicious vehicle. A man who had earlier passed out inside the McDonald’s restaurant tipped off an investigation after the incident made officials suspicious.
After clearing out the parking lot, the Poudre Fire Authority opened the trunk of the vehicle using a long pole as a safety precaution. A Hazmat team also responded to the scene. Inside the car officials did indeed find bottles and other materials believed to be used to make methamphetamine. The car was towed away without incident and the parking lot outside the McDonalds on College Drive has since re-opened.
