Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is coming to Fort Lupton to visit an oil-drilling company field office. Romney is scheduled to speak around 9:30 a.m. near the Fort Lupton field office of K.P. Kauffman Co., a privately owned oil and gas company, 4371 Weld County Road 19.

Romney last appeared in Colorado on Feb. 7, the night of the Republican presidential precinct caucuses. Romney won Colorado's caucuses in 2008, but this year he lost Colorado to former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who has since left the race.

The Fort Lupton stop is Romney's only public event in Colorado. Afterward, he will head to Oklahoma.
