The Poudre Canyon is already a gorgeous area, but when winter hits and the snow sticks, it becomes a different kind of beautiful – and a sight that is definitely worth the drive. This December, the Mish is giving locals another reason to head up the canyon, as they transform their amphitheater and rest of the property into an epic winter wonderland, all month long.

The staff at Mishawaka is taking their holiday spirit to the next level this year, wrapping up the venue like a present, both inside and out. Besides festive decorations, including two huge outdoor Christmas trees, there will be s'mores stations, a space to create your own ornaments, and plenty of hot drinks to keep guests toasty. The s'mores stations and seasonal food/drink specials are only available from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, Friday and from 2-8 p.m Saturday and Sunday. The Mish is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays in December.

On Saturday, December 8, Santa will be coming up the canyon, making an appearance at Mishawaka from 1-4 p.m. During his visit, there'll be free coffee for parents, plus cookies and cocoa for kids. While there's no charge to sit with Santa, the staff asks that guests bring their own cameras, as there will not be a photographer on site.
