Win or lose, it's how you play the game.

While they might not always be the winners, sports teams hailing from Colorado certainly do have their fair share of talented players on them and always put up a good fight regardless of their opponent. 2015 was a year filled with intense, action-packed games and sports seasons – made up of impressive trick shots, game-winning goals, and fantastic fielding plays. Extraordinary moments like these show that Colorado athletes definitely have the heart to win. Let's take a look back at some of the most memorable highlights from Colorado sporting events this year.

Denver Broncos' 83-Yard Punt Return Touchdown

    November 8, 2015

Although they did not win the game, one of the most exciting plays of the season so far for the Denver Broncos, happened while playing against the Indianapolis Colts, when safety, Omar Bolden, returned a punt and ran 83-yards without being touched whatsoever, to score a touchdown just before halftime.

    Nolan Arenado's Amazing Over-the-Tarp Catch

    April 14, 2015

No matter how good or bad they did as a team this season, the Rockies are lucky to have one of the best third basemen in the league as a part of their squad. There's a reason why Nolan Arenado is a consecutive, three-time recipient of the Gold Glove Award – case and point, this unbelievable play during a game against San Francisco, in which he dove over the tarp and almost into the stands to nab a foul ball.

Two-Run Walk-Off Homer by Carlos Gonzalez

    September 26, 2015

CarGo is another important and talented team member of the Colorado Rockies. This impressive, two-run walk-off homer that he blasted at the end of the ninth inning, sealed the game and series win against the Dodgers, and shows just how amazing of a player he really is. Take a good look...you won't see it for long!

    December 5, 2015

The most memorable moments wouldn't be complete without showing some love to our neighbors up the road. The Windsor High School football team defeated Loveland 35-14 during the 4A State Championship game at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in early December. Along with the honorable title of being state champs, the Wizards brought home the trophy for the first time since 2011.

    63-Yard Pick-6 Touchdown for Talib

    October 18, 2015

The Denver Broncos defense is pretty much unstoppable this year and so fun to watch! In his second pick-6 of the season, Aqib Talib intercepted a throw from Cleveland Brown's quarterback Josh McCown and then bolted down the field to score a 63-yard touchdown. The Broncos went on to defeat the Browns 26-23 in overtime.

Av's Player Scores Top Shelf Goal

    January 10, 2015

He shoots, he scores! During an intense game against the Dallas Stars, Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche shot the puck precisely into the upper portion of the net –what's known in hockey terms as a "top shelf" goal, and helped secure the win 4-2.

    Mudiay's Crossover Fools Curry

    November 22, 2015

The Denver Nuggets were highly anticipating having NBA rookie Emmanuel Mudiay on the team this season. So far, his skills and smarts have proved to be an asset to the Nuggets, like when he did this sick crossover move, tricking superstar Steph Curry, and scoring a smooth three-point jumper.

Kevin Doyle Scores Goals with Head

    October 4, 2015

Before coming to play for the Colorado Rapids, Kevin Doyle once led all of the English leagues for having scored the most amount of headers ever. It's hard enough to juke past quick defensive players and score a goal using just your feet, so it's even more impressive that Doyle is capable of scoring using just his noggin'.

C.J. Anderson Seals the Deal in Overtime

    November 29, 2015

It was all thanks to Broncos running back C.J. Anderson's 48-yard mad dash through the snow during overtime that provided his team with the game-winning touchdown and also a much needed win against the New England Patriots, who at the time, were still undefeated. Owning him in your fantasy football league hasn't been such a bad thing either. 'Atta boy C.J.!

The only shutout to come from the Rockies this season was courtesy of Chris Rusin during a home game against the San Diego Padres in August. The 5-0 victory was the first shutout by a Rockies pitcher since Tyler Matzek beat the Padres 3-0 on Sept. 5, 2014.

Behind-the-Head No Look Pass from Mudiay

    November 28, 2015

Apparently Mudiay has multiple tricks up his sleeve. This sly, behind-the-head pass, where he didn't even have to look at his teammate in order to get him the ball to score, was pretty sweet to watch. Hopefully this baller will stick around for more seasons to come!
