Kids and adults of all ages will get to meet one of America's most iconic mascots at Red Feather Lakes in December.

For over 70 years Smokey Bear has been educating the public about the dangers of forest fires. Today the iconic advertising icon continues to make the rounds to spread the word of forest fire prevention and will be stopping by Red Feather Lakes on December 3-4 and 10-11 for Christmas tree cutting season at Smokey Bear's Cabin.

No word on when Smokey will be snapping selfies with you, though visitors can enter the area between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. and are encouraged to bring their own camera for pictures with everyone's favorite fire-hating bear.
