Mariah Carey gave birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe in April, and just seven months later, she has revealed her slim post-baby bod on ‘The Rosie Show.’

On Nov. 8, the 41-year-old singer appeared on the OWN program to unveil her weight loss, and announce her new partnership with Jenny Craig. “The first week, I lost 40 pounds in a week of just water,” Carey said on the show. “Once I started with the program, I’ve lost at least 30 pounds of weight that needed to be lost.”

She added, “The whole point of this is not just like: ‘Oh, hey, look at me and my weight loss, I’m fantastic.’ It’s really health. Like I said, I learned it when I became helpless and felt so vulnerable like never before in my life.”

The diva’s appearance also helped Rosie O’Donnell launch her “Ready Set Go” initiative, a program that is designed to help 25 viewers shed unwanted pounds. Carey joins the likes of Queen Latifah, Sara Rue, Kirstie Alley and Valerie Bertinelli, who have all been spokespersons for Jenny Craig.

Carey first showed off her post-baby bod in August, when she tweeted a photograph of herself in a bathing suit at the beach. Carey says she has lost 70 pounds since giving birth in the spring.
