Man Wanted for Stabbing Family, Killed on I-25

A man fleeing the authorities was killed on I-25, after being struck by several cars. According to the Coloradoan, 30-year-old Randal Vanwoerkom, stabbed his entire family in Cheyenne Wyoming on Friday evening (January 15, 2016). Vanwoerkom was in the process of running from the police on I-25, when he wrecked his vehicle while traveling south, about 5 miles north of Wellington Colorado. The suspects car jumped the median, crossing into oncoming traffic, and came to a stop in a field. After he came to a stop, the man got our of his car, and walked into the northbound traffic of I-25, where he was hit by several cars.

Investigators believe that the attack on the suspects family was a result of him being confronted with allegations of "infidelity." Four family members were discovered to have been stabbed, Vanwoerkom's wife, his father-in-law, and two children, ages 4 and 6. All were transported to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, and are expected to recover.
