A man who was wanted in connection with an April 13 (2016) attempted kidnapping was arrested on Friday (April 29, 2016) night at a home in Greeley.

According to the Greeley Tribune, Pablo Sanchez, 34, was apprehended around 10 p.m., acting on a tip. He was taken in without incident at a home located in the 700 block of 21st Avenue. Sanchez is now being held on suspicion of second-degree kidnapping, felony menacing, assault, a hit-and-run traffic crash and parole violation.

Sanchez was wanted in connection with the abduction and assault of his ex-girlfriend, where she was forced into a van and threatened with a club and knife.

She eventually escaped by throwing herself from the moving van, sustaining several other injuries. Though Sanchez was apprehended without incident, he was reported to be armed and dangerous.
