Colorado Children’s Day was started by Loveland resident Annie Hall in 2002. 14 years later, it’s grown to be a great big day for kids to celebrate being a kid!  It all happens Monday afternoon!

In 2015, over 2,500 kids and their parents were at Loveland’s Children’s Day, put on by the City of Loveland along with the Thompson School District. This year we could see over 3,000!  Join everyone down at the Civic Center on April 18, 2016, starting at 1pm going until 4pm.

Kids of all ages will be enjoying all the great events, happening at the Civic Center, the library, the Chilson Center and the Foote Lagoon. The day will include the traditional ‘Touch a Truck’ activity, where kids of all ages can get an up-close look at the city’s vehicles, including police cars and fire trucks!

Also at Children's Day:

  • Live Entertainment
  • Sports Demos: SNAG Golf, Tennis, Skateboarding and T-Ball
  • Story Time, puppet show and iMake at the Loveland Public Library
  • Crafts and class demos at the Chilson Recreation Center
