Loveland SWAT Team Respond to Standoff in Garden Gate Neighborhood [GALLERY]

A situation in Loveland has the Loveland SWAT team and police on scene for a man who barricaded himself in his home Friday night, April 17.

Sources on scene confirm police arrived on scene to serve a warrant in the Garden Gate neighborhood off of 1st Street between Boise Avenue and Denver Avenue.

The suspect barricaded himself in the home, which warranted a call to Loveland SWAT and the fire department. Neighbors on that block are on lockdown until further notice.

The situation is ongoing and we will keep you advised as details become available.

UPDATED 4/17 at 6:25 p.m.: The suspect has been removed from his home and police have issued a Code 4, meaning no further assistance is needed. No injuries reported at this time.
