Loveland Songwriter is up for a Grammy

A songwriter from Loveland has been nominated for a Grammy.

Ben Glover is a Loveland native, who now lives in Nashville. He has been nominated, along with two other songwriters, for a Grammy Award in the “Best Contemporary Christian Music Song” category.

Glover wrote the song, “Overcomer,” with friends David Garcia and Christopher Stevens for the Christian music artist Mandisa.  She got our attention when she sang on American Idol in 2006.

Ben’s parents, Kara and Gary, still live in Loveland.
