Loveland Shooting – Death UPDATE

On February 12, 2012 Coroner Investigator Matt Canaga responded to Medical Center of the Rockies regarding the death of a 51 year old male who had been shot.

The decedent was pronounced dead at Medical Center of the Rockies on February 12, 2012 at 11:24 pm.

The decedent has been identified as Jeffrey Buckley, Age 51 of Loveland, Colorado.

An autopsy was performed today, February 13, 2012 by Forensic Pathologist James A. Wilkerson IV, MD who determined the Manner and Cause of Death.

The manner of death is Homicide

The cause of death is Exsanguination due to gunshot wound to upper abdomen and right chest.

No other information will be released by the Coroner Office.
