Loveland Residents Reporting Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes Scam

Man, oh man. To win Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes, right?  Gimme. That’s exactly the emotion that these scammer are preying on.  Look out.

The Reporter-Herald has the story about how folks in Loveland are getting mail stating that they’ve won with the Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes. Only one thing-  you need to give THEM some money first, to cover the taxes and legal stuff.

Hopefully, nobody has really fallen for this; but with it being the holidays and everyone looking for some extra cash…  it makes for a bunch of suckers.  Spread the word: Publisher’s Clearing House will not make you pay before getting any money.  That would just be mean!  Mean, like these folks who are trying to get their hands on your hard-earned money.

Publisher’s Clearing House is on the up and up. They just really want you to buy a subscription, or buy some weird thing they are promoting.
