The Loveland Police Department's K9 Brisco is retiring, and it's time to pass the leash to another K9.

K9 Brisco has been with LPD since 2009. His retirement "Passing of the Leash" ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 13, at 4 p.m. in the police institute.

The leash will be passed to K9 Tylon, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois from Holland who joined the LPD K9 Unit in November 2015. He will be assigned to Officer Harris and begin the training process after Wednesday's ceremony.
