Loveland Man’s Arm Severed Off in an Industrial Accident

Emergency Signs
Paul Hart

Yesterday morning a man working at the UPS Center in north Loveland had his arm severed off by a conveyor belt. Thompson Valley Emergency Medical Services and Loveland Fire Rescue Authority were called to the UPS Customer Center, 400 W. 69th St., around 8:30 a.m.

The man was taken to a hospital while LFRA personnel worked to extract the man’s arm from the conveyor belt. The hope was that doctors could save the potentially lost limb. There has been no update on the man’s condition as of this morning.
