Loveland Announces New Lift Name and Thankfully It’s Not Lifty McLiftface

Because that's what happens when you ask the public to name things, just ask Boaty McBoatface, but Loveland's Lift 1 has a new name as decided by you guys. 

According to The Know, Loveland's old Lift 1 was recently replaced with a high-speed quad lift. Loveland held a naming contest, and ultimately chose to name the lift 'Chet’s Dream' in honor of Chet Upham, who was a longtime owner of Loveland Ski Area until he passed in 2008.

Loveland is still family owned and operated by the Upham family.
