Some people like to wear flip-flops all year round, some it's more of a summer thing.  But flip-flops can be a menace and cause injury.

As KDVR reported, women can sometimes assume that high heels can be harder on their feet than flip-flops, but doctors are saying that is not exactly correct.  Your stilettos versus your comfy flip-flops, heels are actually the lesser of two evils.

If you do want to enjoy your flip flips this summer (as I am sure you do), there is still options!  Doctors say you should follow the same rule of thumb for walking in high heels: You should wear them for only about two hours at a time, then you should probably find something else that may be a little sturdier for awhile.
