From horseback to a "Zion Curtain," here is a look at some of the weirdest alcohol laws across the country.

As Gizmodo reported, there are some laws surrounding the sale of alcohol that really just kind of make you scratch your head.

You have to stop and think and wonder to yourself, what could have possibly of happened for the need to make some of these things a law.

  • In Colorado, horseback riding while drunk is considered the same thing as driving drunk.
  • In Kentucky, dry counties where alcohol sales are illegal, is where the bourbon is distilled.
  • In Utah, drinks are poured behind a "Zion Curtain" for new restaurants, as to not offend non-drinkers or impressionable teens.
  • In Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in a public park, you can't give animals alcohol.
  • In Oklahoma, certain beers have to be sold at room temperature.
  • Also in Alabama, the labels on wine bottles, can't be too "sexy."

  • In Alaska, kids are allowed to drink, just not in a liquor establishment.
  • In Missouri, it is illegal to put drugs into alcohol.
  • In Nebraska, PDA is not allowed by a bar owner or their employees with patrons.
