Many of us can't imagine a world with anything other than disposal diapers. There are many parents along the Front Range who cannot afford diapers. Luckily, there are two ladies working hard for diaper donations to help these people have the basic necessity, that is, diapers. The team is looking for corporate sponsors and donations and always welcome diapers of any size or brand. They also have several fundraising events planned. According to the Reporter Herald:

Kimberly Gonzales of Loveland and Lynette Badasarian of Aurora call themselves the "diaper divas."

"We've got to have something fun that speaks our personalities," Gonzales said.

Plus, they want to capture attention for their cause — collecting and distributing diapers to agencies along the Front Range that, in turn, distribute them to their clients.

"Diapers are a basic need," Badasarian said. "People forget that they aren't an automatic. You don't automatically get diapers with WIC (Women, Infants and Children food assistance) or food stamps."

Gonzales identified the need in Northern Colorado as the owner of Colorado Kids Connection, which provides a list of family activities and resources in the area.

She found that many agencies provide low-income individuals with food, clothing and housing, but few provide diapers, so she contacted Badasarian, who founded and is executive director of the Mile High Diaper Bank.
