‘Lights Up!’ A Fun Way to Ring in the Holidays in Fort Collins

Christmas is my favorite holiday (St. Patrick's Day comes close, but that's another blog post).  I love when you can just feel the holiday season in the air, you know?  And I just heard about a great way to celebrate the season, right in my neck of the woods!

Front Range Village, in the southeast part of Fort Collins, is hosting a free event called "Lights Up!" and it sounds like it's right up my alley.

The event runs 6 pm to 8:30 pm on November 22nd.  In addition to the traditional (but still exciting) welcoming of Santa and Mrs. Claus, there will also be performances by the Canyon Concert Ballet and Dickens Carolers...and a fireworks display!  Now that's something you don't see very often in November!

I'll definitely be going to this one, especially since it's only a five-minute drive from my house.  Maybe I'll see you there!
