The swimming area at North Lake Park Beach in Loveland is now closed for the season. The beach is normally open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day each summer, but fluctuating water levels in Lake Loveland have caused early closure for the past few years.

The beach is provided for public water play through an agreement between the City of Loveland and the Lake Loveland Recreation Club, who are the owners of the recreation surface rights on the lake. However, the water is owned and controlled by the Greeley-Loveland Irrigation Company and their needs can impact the amount of water available for wading and swimming at the beach.
