You along with just about everyone else in America probably has a box of Kraft Macaroni and cheese in your home. A recent recall says there might be metal in your box.

As KDVR reported, Kraft Foods is recalling 242,000 cases of the Original flavor of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinners because of the possibility that they may contain small pieces of metal.

The recall only impact certain code dates and codes, which you can check here.

In general the recalled product is limited to the following:

  • 7.25-oz. size of the original flavor of boxed food
  • “Best When Used By” dates of September 18, 2015 through October 11, 2015
  • Code “C2″ directly below the date on each box

Consumers that have purchased the product that are in the following criteria should return it to the store where it was purchased for an exchange or a full refund.  Consumers can also contact Kraft Foods Consumer Relations at 1-800-816-9432 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET for a full refund.
