Kids can be sophisticated listeners.

Even the younger ones, if exposed to it, get pop music and more advanced music a lot faster than we may give them credit.

Do you know what I was listening to at 7 years-old? Queen. I remember loving the rock music of the late '70s and early '80s. The Queen record I had was Another One Bites the Dust with Don't Try Suicide on the B side. That's a solid 45 for such a young person. Age appropriate? Maybe not.

One of the driving forces behind Kidz Bop is the fact that young kids love pop music. However, I'm not sure at what age it is appropriate to bring a child to a Lady Gaga, Capital Cities or other concert.

With Kidz Bop, it's guaranteed to be age appropriate. They take today's best hits and perform them in a high-energy rock show that is fun for the whole family.

This is a wonderful thing, because it's never too early to start rocking.

Kidz Bop is bringing your family and your young rocker a chance to get down at the Lincoln Center.
